Nicole Yunker

Nicole Yunker has released her first EP “My Dream” which has been 30 years in the making. With Nicole’s classically trained voice, her warm vocals provide four tracks that speak to the heart. The album was recorded during COVID-19 without in-person contact with any of the musicians. Everyone worked together creatively by using technology to make Nicole’s dream of recording an EP a reality. As a proud resident of Dauphin, Manitoba, Nicole recorded at the local radio station 730 CKDM and many locals were instrumental in making her EP happen!

The EP features four easy listening tracks featuring two arrangements by Manitoba Musicians; Danny Schur’s spiritual track “We Seek Thee God” and Gary Procyshyn’s beautiful arrangement of the French folk song “Un Canadien Errant”. A beautiful rendition of the traditional hymn “Be Thou My Vision” by Ottawa musician Milana Zilnik along with Les Misérables “Bring Him Home” round out the EP.

Nicole’s EP not only features her beautiful voice but is also a reminder that we can accomplish our dreams at any age. At 45, Nicole continues to evolve as an artist and she is grateful for her musical journey.
